Bob Roemer on the M135i
Just reading the July Roundel mag pg 34 Roemers column on latest BMW news and heard on the block. He makes a few statements that appear incorrect, highly unlikely or don't hang together.
"BMW M managers say the new M135i will be sold in the US market later this year" What? That would mean they would start selling the F20 later this year in the US, did I miss all the threads discussing this great news?? The only M135i we have seen is the F20, but he appears to be talking in context of the coupe, which is years off? "..They have also announced a model called e 135is; at this point, the only BMW model with that coveted code is the Z435is" What about the 335is?

I have never found anything in Roundel to be overly accurate, timely, or all that informative. I would chalk it up to he is mistaken, the facts at hand as described above would seem to support that.

N55 e82 135is has already been announced for US. Pricing is 44k. Very close to the 1Ms price of 46k.
Roundel actually had the scoop on that. don't hate, investigate! |

Like I always said, the 1M was a bargain (a hard to find one but a bargain anyway). Especially so in US, or for diplomats (BMW always has great prices for diplomats and other special sales groups). Still I may be the only diplomat who chose this car globally speaking! Thinking about a 1 of 1 sticker for myself
