The amber sides are way to bright and need to go. First thing I'm doing is getting some euro headlights

this is a GREAT post...I'm very surprised at how simialr the two are, with the obvious height and width exceptions. Will be counting days until someone buys my Accord...

I you're trying to light up the sky in fear of a bird hitting you, then yes. Of course, then you would have to angle the bulbs upward and would have bigger problems like turns and trees:biggrin:

No eyelids for me, but I'm seriously thinking about adopting the black headlamp surrounds, a la the tii:

The 1 series looks like a chubby, fat car that hasn't lost it's baby fat.

What is wrong with BMW designers. Seriously, what's up with the whacky headlights on the 5, e90 3, and 1. Why can't they come up with a simple and elegant design like this. Being different for the sake of difference is so highschool.

I disagree. The damn Audi's and VW's now look the same. What a dumb idea that was.

The more I look at the pics in this thread, the more convinced I get that the 135 is simply ugly. The headlights are just nasty, and the body work makes the car look bloated.
There's simply no elegance or sleek-ness to the 135. What a disappointment.

Supposedly, it looks much better in person.

Definitely. Drove up to Detroit for the auto show, unsure. Seeing it in person sealed the deal for me. The car looks "tall" in pics alongside a shorter car. Didn't look/feel that way in person. Looks squat and ready to roll.
It's easy to be harsh about its styling when you put it next to a E46. That was a beautiful design. One for the ages.
