The forecast is looking worse and worse. If its snowing when I wake up, I don't think I'm up for the drive with my summer tires still on.

Don't think that I am going to risk it. It is supposed to start around noon on LI and go until tomorrow. 12-15+ inches is what they are saysin, even if we get half that it is still alot. Sandwiches sound great and I will miss them but maybe next year and maybe not another meet in Jersey! For all those who go, enjoy.

I'll make a decision when I leave the dentist. If snow is falling, not coming.

Well i'm probably the first to get back...overall very surprised at the turnout considering the "impending doom" of snow we're supposed to be having. Total of 7 cars showed.

Good luck to those of you still making your way home in this weather.

Made it back, after a little "testing" of my summer tires in the snow, or the light powder that some may call snow that was on the ground. Needless to say, DTC engaged and there might have been some lateral movement...

Anyway, good to be able to put faces to some of the names, hopefully next time it won't be snowing and I won't be 45 min late.

Hey it was nice to meet all of you. I'll put the few pictures I took up as soon as I can.

And I agree with the above posted statement, the summer tires were fine in that blizzard.

Was nice lunch. Next time I'll just do desert for lunch. I'll try a piece of the giant cakes.

After we all left I went to Menlo Park Mall for about 10 minutes. When I came out is was really starting to come down so we timed it just right.

Was some guy named Dave supposed to be there?

Apparently he was there, after we left...I didn't know anyone was still left behind, I would've stayed a tad longer if so.

It was rather uneventful. Once I hit Rt17 I had beaten out the storm. I got up here at about 6.
When I hit the light at 17 it was red and I was the first car, so I decided to make balls out run from a dig.
Scared the crap out of the guy in a minivan next to me.

Ohh and I 81 was moving at almost 90, so that was nice too.

Great to see you guys, next time I'll make sure I come with the 135i and 'blend' better. Can't have no stinkin' Audis on a BMW meet!

Great food and choice of venue, we should kick off spring there!

I'd like to suggest Johnny's Reef on City Island in the Bronx for a springtime/early summer meet. It's the "go to" place in the area for fried shrimp and seafood in general and its got a good sized parking lot. usually there are a lot of ricers there, so it'd be fun to show up with a group of Bavarian rocket sleds.
