Introducing myself
Hi, I would like to introduce myself:
I am the new owner of the frozen grey bmw 135. I have purchased the car off of MfizzleNYC (my brother). I am currently waiting on doing some mods on my car, winter time is coming in NY and i will be keeping my car in the garage and putting on tints and rims for the spring. I look forward to posting new photos once done. This is a cool site and as time goes on i am sure i will end up doing some kind of motor work! Look forward to speaking with you all on the forums! |

I could have sworn I saw this car in Glen Cove on Saturday night. Either it was a matte 135i or just covered in frost.

So it was you? It was around 1:30am. You were at the light at the firehouse. I was making the right.
Do you live in Glen Cove?

So no one has answered the care question. I know a guy that was selling Lamborghinis, he had a slew of matte paint stories. We all agree it looks great (well, most of us) but the paint does not do well with oil from hands or the outdoors, it can't be waxed or coated in any way, no car wash, and when washing by hand, you need a special soap with no greasy stuff in it. (I think Zymol clear will work, in low concentrations). These are Lambo rules. What about this paint on e 1 same deal, or is it easier to take care of?

Matte finishes look great - at a car show. As the finish on a DD it's crazy.
