Procede v5 map1 and map2.
So using the procede v5 with autotune+ic enabled. Both map1 and map2 end up at this boost level. I think this is 12.5?
What would be causing the car to not hold a higher boost? The only mods I have are an AFE intake and the procede v5. I run ron98. My car is an auto, n54 2009/10. I think most people are going to say datalog but this is hard for me to do. |

Plug it into your laptop, what do the settings say?
Also do some datalogs so we can see what's going on.

Others have gone to the effort of attaching an extension cable and passing it through the firewall into the cabin. |

Map 1 and Map 2 should autotune to the same level eventually. The difference between them is just that map 2 will start at a higher level (if you use default settings). Where the Autotune goes to is depednant on many things such as air temps, fuel quality, and even some engines are happier than others. You can turn the aggression level up to get autotune to accept more more knock events if you prefer to run more boost on Autotune. Or you can turn off autotune and fix the boost levels to your settings.

I found a tutorial on e90 post which explains how to get the cable through the firewall. I might do that so I can log while I drive.
Adrian, could it have anything to do with intake and the intake hose? I think my hose might be a tiny bit loose. |

Any loose bits on the intake side shouldn't affect your boost levels.
Loose piping leaking boost from the turbo hotside onwards (via intercooler to manifold) will. But boost leaks on these cars with its smarty pants DME will often cause drivability issues or throw codes. |

The intake hose should not effect boost in any way. If it is AUtotune, it is detecting knock and reacting accordingly. Some cars are just a bit more knock prone then others for no real reason. You can turn autotune off if you like and force the boost you want.

I have the same boost level. Tried correcting it by the laptop but it ends up with the same, even when using VP109 fuel. My trap speed is low compared to my time as well 12.468@110.41 (177.6km/hr)

What is the max safest level for a drag pass with having the auto tune off? On race gas and with AR dps?
