BMW Performance Pedals
Just installed the OEM BMW Performance Pedals today. They look and feel absolutely amazing.
I picked them up for $95 on eBay. I highly recommend them as they really dress up the interior in my opinion. If you're on the fence about these I would definitely say pick up a set. Here are before and after pics |

Do they install over the current pedals or replace them?

They don't cover the OEM pedals. You have to remove the OEM rubber cleats and drill through the steel pedals to install them. I wouldn't say it's a hard install, but it certainly isn't easy due to your working space. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. I think all 135i's should have come from the factory with these installed.

Just to clarify, there are actually two different versions of BMW Performance pedals that fit out cars. The ones pictured above are the aluminum ones, while there is also a stainless steel set.
Aluminum part diagrams: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=03_0422, http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=03_0419 Stainless (auto): 35000410100 Stainess (manual): 35000410099 http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...23#35000410099 I've run both the auto and manual versions of the stainless steel kit. The drive-by-wire gas pedal is completely replaced, while the stainless steel clutch/brake pedal covers replace the original rubber pads. |

I installed the stainless steel set when I got my car. I love the look so much better (subtle) and no drilling required. At the time they came stock on the 335is (and eventually the 135is when that came out). |

I'm with you, an old soul that usually prefers a less flashy design. The Dinan pedals feature a design similar to that of the BMW Performance aluminum ones, a bit too much for me. Last edited by tock172; 08-17-2017 at 11:20 PM.. |
