Air Conditioning Use - A Daft Question...?
I wonder if anyone can help me?
Is it possible to operate the temperature settings for both the driver and passenger side from just the driver’s side..? Or, do I have to turn both dials independently..? For instance, I'm out in my car in the cool evening with the better half and the roof down, and we set both driver and passenger side to 23C, then the next morning I jump in the car and get going, then realise I want to reduce the cabin temp, so I turn the drivers side temp control to reduce it to 16C, but the passenger side is still set to 23C - so they are effectively competing with each other!?! I know I can just reach over and turn the passenger side down as well, but is there a way of operating both sides from the one control (dare I say it, like in an Audi)? Thanks in advance, Neil. |

This feature would be nice, but I don't know if it exists. Since I'm usually alone in my 135, I never know what to set the passenger's thermostat to. If I make it too warm, it might cut the AC on my side, or even blow hot air. But if I make it too cold, won't I be wasting AC on the other side? Should I always keep them the same if I don't have a passenger?

i usually press MAX and leave that for a few minutes to cool the car quickly (down in FL), and then i switch back to "Auto" with both sides set at 72

A solution was already presented for this in another thread ... a rubber band around the two dials
