DCT

Has anybody heard it mentioned or willing to guess when the dual clutch transmission(M-DCT) will be available in the 1 series?

My guess is that DCT will remain an M-only transmission for a few years at least.

Probably not until the new model comes out in a few years. BMW has said they plan on replacing the torque converter with the DCT on the 1 and 3 series in the future.
