Missing my 135is

My 135is has been at the Dealership for almost two weeks....

I am starting to miss it a lot. 328i loaner is just not cutting it. After 135is, it feels like a old school caddie. Big and floaty.

No idea when I can get my car back. Waiting on a part from Germany.

Ya, what is your car in for that has it waiting for two weeks? You should ask for a better loaner then. Usually they dont' care which one you get so ask your service guy when something better is available to let you know so maybe you can swap?

What dealer is it?

Want to borrow mine?

I will say, every time I drive another car it makes me really appreciate and love mine even more.

Try driving a toyota yaris or chevy malibu while getting body work done. I'd take the old 328i any day over those two. That being said, it is a BARGE. New 428i is even worse.

I feel your pain. My 1er has been at the collision center for 5 weeks and I've been driving a '14 Cruze. I'm jealous of your 328i loaner...

If i were you i would be happy that i am driving a BMW loaner.
I have seen people stuck with a Toyota corolla for a month waiting on parts/repairs(not that there is anything wrong with a corolla, just a different driving experience than a 135is).

Oh I had to work it a little to get the BMW loaner. This is the 5th time the car is in service for same issue. First 4 times they gave me a rental car... I said no more.

My dealer does insane amount of volume in their service dept. So getting a BMW as a loaner is no easy task.

Clearly the service department's inability to fix the problem the first time?

Rental car for in warranty BMW service? WTF.

Can't say I was terribly impressed with my local service shops TALENT. I am impressed with their customer service but their work is average at best. I'd be tempted to call if woefully inept but I'm feeling nice tonight. I am not surprised at all that people are returning 5 times for the same issue as I went through the same thing only to have the various issues resolved first time off the bat at an independent or 3rd party specialty shop. Very embarrassing for BMW in my opinion and left me feeling, well, happy really. I'm finally driving a car that feels like new again and I paid less than half for the service compared to if I had it done at the dealer service center.

How'd you swing that as a loaner?

Im surprised that they actually rent a car for you.
My dealership just says no cars available if all their loaners are being used.
