I wouldn't worry about the quality, I would worry about droning.

The couple of sets of Manaflows I've run on muscle cars didn't drone. They get compliments all the time

Same here...plus Magnaflow will not charge $2,000-4,000 for their axle-back either.

Here it is...

MSRP: $1,346.03

And they call it a Cat-back...I assume it is just an axle-back.

Kinda funny though. I had nearly this SAME EXACT design on my 2004 R32, except it had single tips on each side, instead of dual. I bought it NEW for $400. I guess two extra tips cost $1,000 now?

Who is going to be the first? I like the price compared to the other options....
I have a magnaflow on my M3 with drone and have heard of drone issues on Audi's. I have never heard of an issue with muscle cars and my 1970 GTO sounded fantastic. I think a v8 is much easier to tune than a 6

Sooo....basically, this could mate up with a maddad/berk midpipe to make up a full system for approx $1800-$2000.

Nope...

Because the Magnaflow axleback can be had for about HALF the MSRP. And even if you pay full price for the berk mids ($600). So much less than $1800 - $2000.

In fact, you can get full Downpipes/midpipes/axle-back exhaust for less than $2000.

Right. I was using MSRP to factor the total cost for both pieces. Obviously, the cost differs depending where folks purchase and whether or not they get a hookup.

If you have access to a hookup, hopefully you can hook a brutha up.

where are you guys buying magnaflow from?

Btw if you look at the install sheet it looks like more than just an axle back as someone above mentioned

...even at MSRP, you can STILL get a whole exhaust system for less than the cheapest axle-back alternative available for the 1M.

I buy all my Magnaflow products from Hottexhaust.com

From there, you can enter promo/coupon codes. I like to enter "veedub" as my code.
