Anyone else grab one of these 'Joy' posters?

I got this huge insert in the Wall Street Journal last Wednesday. Took a pic of both sides on my hood for size scale. I wish I grabbed two now so I could hang up both sides.

I seem to have one in my house. I have no idea where it came from, haha. I'm assuming it was in the mail and I didn't realize what it was until now.

I havent seen it run again, but it seems like a pretty pricey insert to run multiple days though.

Perhaps. On a nice weekend I will drink my Sat morning coffee in my garage while I prepare to wash and detail one of the bimmers. To me, I've always liked a nice well organized garage space. Sort of the extention to the man cave.

Here is mine.....this pic was taken prior to the aquistion of the 1er.

yea, in a perfect world, I wouldnt mind it painted...but its a 3 car garage with double height ceilings and would be a huge project or expensive to outsource.

Not a fan of the "Joy" campaign. It would go right in the garbage.

As I was typing a BMW commercial came on the TV. Ultimate Driving Machine Sale. Thats more like it.

over this Joy campaign....its not like they ditched 'Ultimate Driving Machine'. Soon they will be on to something new. Cant just put Ultimate Driving Machine on every ad and expect it to sell cars. This ad even says Ultimate Driving Machine all over it.

Got too see the concept car at BMWWelt -- WOW!! Want one now!

BTW: 'joy' is part of the BMW brand for years and is all over BMW sites auf Deutsch [not 'The Ultimate Driving Machine'] "Freude am fahren" = "[the] Joy of Driving" -- though I think it sounds best in German and *might* be why English sites and sales use "The Ultimate Driving Machine".

Well, I'm not quite in tears about it but I did offer my opinion on their advertising campaign. I get not Joy from their Joy. It really shouldnt bother you that much.

Im not the one that seems 'bothered'. I dont love the campaign, but I dont go out of my way to point out that I dislike it in a thread that isnt asking for that opinion. My comment about people crying wasnt specific to just you....you just pointed it out. There is a lot of complaining over a very insignificant issue.
