Go for a 325, as the 330 will not be "top dog" for long when 335 arrives! I think 330 will lose more money when 335 arrives next year.
Then get 335 in a few years. Thats my plan.

Strangely, my dealer is recommending a 325, all large engined cars depreciate particularly badly in Ireland......

I have an E46 330 now and the E90 325 is not much slower. In fact at the top the E90 325 feels faster and I did not miss any significant low end grunt! That's why I'm going for a 325 combied with the pending 335. I just cannot justify the GBP3300 extra for the 330 over 325, just for 1 second faster to 62mph! We're luck here in UK/Ireland that 325 and 330 have very simlair spec's, especailly in M-Sport spec. 330 does not offer enough for the extra money when a 335 is commig!

If you get the 330i it will be less trouble for you when you wake up in the morning and have to decide between taking the mini or the BMW...

Thats a tuff/nice decsion to have to make!

The MINI MCS JCW will always be wilder than even a 330!

That would be a tough decison to make. I'd probably only take the 330 if I was traveling on the highway or carrying passengers. Otherwise, there's no matching the fun factor of the Mini.

My MINI is a blast - the supercharger noise , handling and looks all combine to make a great package - and the 210 bhp helps too !

Jboo, I agree, the BM will be better for cruising......... MINI is for the B and C roads........

Pardon the repetition, but I am with noflash: Bring this option to the USA, preferably as part of a ZHP package, and make it affordable! On the other hand, why not be bold and just synch the USA with the rest of the world and offer us the M-sport package!

Just call it the ZHP for the E90.
Cloth available, black or silver m-cube trim, unique body panels, short shifter, suspension, cams or other engine adjustment.
This time, put in a friggin limited-slip diff to go along with the electronic nannies.

the 335 will be turbo and all turbo motors come with problems, so beware the 330i will remain popular

YES! This is the one I want. And give me the shadow trim instead of the chrome.

This is actually true. Coca-cola blends it differently for different countries.

The US Coke tastes sweeter than the one in Japan, which is slightly salty. The one in China tastes super sweet, more than the US.

How's South African coke?

I'm with Ian: the limited slip is a great idea if the electronic nannies do not interfere. Add in symmetric front-rear wheel&tire sizes to reduce understeer, at least for the 330i ZSP. I can see the logic for increased rear traction with a 335i & M3, but I would bet the 330i handles better with 255/35s (or 225/40s) all around. Remember, we have to keep this affordable. The E46 ZSP was a bit pricey. And theoretically, the 335i is on its way, so the need for an amped 330i may only be temporary.

Yes, I think this car really needs a Limited Slip Differential!! I have already lost traction on the inside wheel several times when doing very tight corners under power. This is going to be murder on the autocross course!
