1er BMW Welt Meet on 5/15 in Munich. Still waiting on the time, but should be about 40 1ers so far signed up. A bit of a drive, but should be a good time. Here is the link to the WELT site..it looks pretty BA.

15 May starts at 1000. It is being supported directly by BMW. They'll be taking pictures, touring the WELT, eating at the WELT Restaurant, and then a 120k drive out around Munich.

Well, the 14-15th May, there will be 1/4 mile races in Bitburg.

(KC, maybe your meth will work this time)

Also, on the 23rd May (could change to 22), there will be another 1ers European meet here in Bitburg. Currently being planned for the route with possible Bar-b-q or ending at the Ring for a finish Lap. We can all participate and help out.

I can just hear the excuses now -- "oh man, my dog swallowed my keys"

You know that they are doing the 24hour race at the 'ring the weekend of the 15-16 and the Tuner GP @ Hockenheim on the 22?

Priorities man! The house isn't going anywhere - this meet is 1 day and that's it.

Working weekends? This is early enough notice to arrange a switch or take 1 day of leave well worth it.

I'll be leaving by end of that week to California and would like to meet all of you and make that final lap on the Ring with baby, just hope I don't wreck her.

The list already started growing on the German site.

Let's do this 1ADDICTS!!

Not easy to do when you are one of only 4 people who can do the job, and your on 12's. We are very undermanned in my shop. Sorry, I wish I could, I want to hit the Ring up bad.

Nice! Spang135 will be there from his last PM.

Plan to join the meet on the 23rd. The European guys are cool and we'll be storming up the Ring. Your car will have the most mods on it to make a good show.

A few months back I met a guy in K-town with a white 1 FULLY done (JB3/Meth/downpipes/turbo back exhaust/Billstein/275s/etc and possibly nitro but he wouldn't say) I forgot the guys name anybody know him? He said he's never been on this forum so that was a surprise. Said he was a crew chief out of WA.
