Allright I got my reservations for Fri. night. I 'll drive up there Fri and hang out that night. Once we get done at the ring I think I'll break away and head home since I am right next door. I,m looking forward to another great 1addicts get together!

On Saturday, at the Ring... where is everyone planning on parking? Both the lots fill up pretty quick, and I was wondering if we were going to try and park all together, maybe the unimproved parking lot on the other side of the round about?

Just trying to get an idea when I head that way where to look.

I think most of the cool stuff will happen on Saturday! In the morning we will have the Manhart Racing tour, then drive down in convoy to the 'Ring. I don't know really where we will park. Maybe in Brunchen ? Or further away from the masses? I am sure near the 'Ringwerks they will be charging five euros or so to park at the prime areas there!

Then will we drive the 'Ring when it opens at 5pm or so? After the Oldtimer racing is over with? We will need to get back to the Meilenwerk before they close at 10pm. I was think we should get there around 8:00pm so we can look around and have some chow there.

I did find some American restaurants near our hotel. Here are a few. Maybe we could hang out at one of these on Friday night? I can leave BA at 7pm(now!), so I should be up there around 10:30pm or so.

thats awesome that you found some american restaurants up there! the Ring actually opens at 1500 saturday so we have plenty of time for racing. we can take up a general consensus of where people would like to eat that are gonna be there saturday night. seeing that classic car museum would be awesome too. I'm sure there will be plenty of time for us to do whatever we would like. yay for 4-day weekends!!

I think the ring is open from 1200-1900 on Saturday which means even more time for whatever!

Yeah, the site updated this week, it was 1500 till 1900. Now it's 1200 till 1900 which I guess is even better.

Will we have a designated time an place by Saturday? I know most you guys are doing Friday night, but I can't make that due to another Bday.

I am going to hopefully be at the Ring around 1ish on Saturday.

Then lets shoot to meet at that parking lot(~1pm) where you can enter the track for "tourist driving" where the 'Ring Taxi is and that Cafe. IF that lot is full, there is a overflow lot across the traffic circle, or we park on the road there. Sounds good>?

1. Is that the parking lot on the right as you come pulling into the last road before entering/leaving the ring? Pretty sure that's what you're talking about, and that isn't a bad idea.

2. As long as we all park towards the road, I think that would work.

3. Last resort is the lot across from the two main lots we have been talking about.

YES! As you drive direction Ringwerk/Nürburgring Boulevard 1, 53520 Nürburg... just before that Bundesstrasse ends and hits the B258, on the right is a big park platz called: Brünnchen

There are a lot of near miss accidents and many locals like to hang out here. There is usually some Imbiss stands and the gravel parking lot is huge.

This is where we met the 1er forum.de last year for our Ring Trip outting.

I was hoping for some laps on Friday but it looks as though the Ring isn't open. Saturday is highly doubtful at this point. Lot's a drama going on in my life right now...lot's. I'll hit up Rikx or JK on Saturday if I'm heading that direction.

Shit I wish it was that simple. I've been out of the office for 6 weeks, then moved right into SHARP training. Let's say, my platoon is a little behind the power curve now.

Plus doing an ERD for the family due to some medical reasons. So life is only going to become more hectic from here on out.
