today was a good day...

Went to Speed-concept today to get on their dyno and this is the result. I used the 5/9 firmware with Map 5. Power translation from PS/Nm is 436HP / 518 lb/ft at 17.5 psi.

Very nice numbers!

Really curious what this would translate to on the track.

What are Terry's (BMS) numbers in his 1er? I cant remember off the top of my head.

Holy Chit! Map 5?? What fuel? That's awesome. No meth? I'm running this same firmware, but having to log to find out some issues I'm currently having. Good to see it's working out for ya! How were you running Map 5 with meth? I was under the assumption meth only flowed on map 3 and map 6.

Unless JK added something else to the fuel, 93(98 RON) Super Plus is what we mostly run here.

Depending on how you have it set up (Boost for us) you can run it on any map.

I'm only 2 1/2 steps behind you Justin....Should be getting close to you soon once my IC comes in.

ezee - i will be providing a write up on the shop in the next day or two.

BFD99 - my meth controller is set to come on based on my boost like Elsabor said. i have a slightly older version of the CM meth kit so mine doesn't actually link into the JB4. If you want a little more info on that PM me and I'll go into more detail.

FOACAD - i can only assume that you mean drag strip and I have no idea cause there isn't a track out here good enough to find out. plus if i really wanted to push for good drag times i think i would need DSS axels. I think Terry hit 440/495 on map 3, I don't know about his newest map 5 or if he's even dynoed it yet.

and yes I was using 93 octane.

ok it looks like there might be a little confusion about the JB4/meth combo. The newer cooling mist meth kits can link to the JB4, I do not have one of those kits. My meth is controlled by the CMGS controller and starts spraying when i start making boost. I am running map 5 which is an auto tuning map and does not have a meth additive like map 3. map 5 adjusts the settings, like boost, to the modifications that you have on your car.

the standard board in the JB4 is 18 ohm, it can be modified to 15 ohm.

Nope got the boost readings on the laptop and they hook up a vacuum line at the dyno to see boost as well. When are we gonna get some clips of the new exhaust!?
