Front mesh thing

Hi all,

Quick question, how do I go to this

From this:

What is that plastic? Should I cut it? Remove it? Leave it alone?
I already removed the mesh.

Tona

I had to cut that plastic off to fit my IC since it was the large 7 inch type. i don't think it serves any structural purpose.

trim it and just pop it off. Makes the car look more aggressive without it but if you are going for the sleeper look keep it on!
