Brake replacement
What happens to the brake pad replacement sensors if you change your brakes?
I am thinking of upgrading the brakes, but would probably do the suspension first. Still itching... but I haven't tidy up my books yet....

Check out my pad replacement DIY (http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...ight=brake+diy) and you'll see that I just pulled out the sensors and taped them back against themselves so that they're out of the way.
The sensors work by completing a circuit when the pads wear down enough, so there is no harm in pulling them out of the pads and not using them, as long as the circuit isn't completed. I'm putting my stock pads back on this weekend and will be re-inserting the sensors into the pads. I expect them to work just fine.
