Side Marker Cleaning

Side markers looked foggy and yellowish so I decided to pull em off this morning and refresh them.

Taking them off was easy. Just slid a card from the back and pushed it forward till it released. Once removed just worked on it with 3M rubbing compound, Menzerna intensive polish, and then waxed it. Turned out great and they look new.

Interesting coincidence that you used a card from Sonoma State University: My next door neighbor and his son were out there a couple of weeks ago checking out the campus...

I was just up there for a church conference, but supposedly they are supposed to have a crazy male-female ratio. There website says:

60/40% female to male ratio

Which should be a great selling point to him... Unless he swings for the other team.

Thanks for posting this. I have noticed mine look like your before picture but wasn't sure how to clean it.
