I don't believe I have ever looked at this. All I know is that the gas tank is too small. Very limited range. Maybe 300 miles at best.

I get 360-390 miles to the tank cruising in the 70-80mph range on the highway. City driving,

^^ My car has mods. I suspect the increase HP and torque come at the expense of higher fuel consumption.

I just get 13~14mpg, 80% city 20% highway...There's definitely something wrong!!! I haven't paid attention until I read this because my last car was a 11mpg Coyote 5.0 (It trained me not to look at the mpg)

That's M3 status right there...no, that's like C63 status right there...

I've re-fuelled my car 3 times so far. I calculated these by taking the miles it says on the little screen (the one I can reset with the little button) divided by the number of gallons fuelled in.

Tank 1: 24mpg (60 city, 40 hwy, some idle)
Tank 2: 23mpg (similar to tank 1)
Tank 3: 20.5mpg (I've mostly driven in the traffic)

On my 4th tank now and things look bleak...16.8mpg (according to the on board computer). The fuel gauge is just below 3/4 and the range says 177 miles.

To be fair, I haven't seriously tried to drive efficiently yet but I expected it to be a tad more efficient.

Yeah, that sounds actually broken. Automatic transmission in your car?

I'm also down to 17.1 mpg these days. I do make my 13 mile work commute in 14 minutes or so though, and zero of it is highway.

Even with automatic, that's pretty intense. He probably goes through lots of traffic and uphills? I know I went through an uphill traffic once and my whole 9 mile trip = 10.4mpg for that trip.

Lol of course, taking 13mile city at 1 mile per minute is nothing for the St|g. I'd expect no less.

Yup AT, 54k miles on it 2010, just the jb4 and ppk2 hw on it.
The car doesn't feel sluggish, nor idles rough, so don't know where to start then...

I fill up and says 250+ miles to E...but I reset my trip computer and I get less than 220 (sometimes less than 200) miles of a full tank...

Three tanks so far, around 22-22.5 mpg. Suburban/city driving.

Yeah, I do get a bit of traffic. Nothing extreme though. And no hills either.

For the N52 automatic at least, there seems to have been a DME update that drastically improved MPG. Might be something to look into.

Getting out of work at 10pm has its perks.

In traffic on the way to work and longer drives are usually for fun so not a lot of cruising.
Now at 14.3mpg

Oh! Now that's closer to what I get. I'm going to blame it on all the stop n go traffic I go through to and from work.

I'm getting 19mpg in a mix of city and highway driving, and I usually shift pretty early. I thought it would be slightly better when I bought the car

N55 DCT, JB4/DP, Map 5 driving like a complete asshole I average 22.7-23mpg. Pretty darn pleased with that. I've been mixing 70/30% 93/E85 lately and average about 20.8mpg. Pulls like hell!

23 MPG

23MPG overall. Car is a stock 2013 135i 6MT Sport w/ 2750 miles. Shell 93, mostly commuter miles, lot of stop & go traffic, not gentle on the throttle. Pretty OK with that.
