Poll: Which license plate bracket?
If all goes as planned, the dealer will NOT be drilling holes in the front bumper upon delivery. Trying to decide between 2 units
#1 By Skene Design or #2 By GoMiniGo I like the "possible" strength of the tow hook bracket, but I dont know if Im crazy about the off centered location. I like the location of the center mounted bracket, but am unsure about the long term strength. Also, if im mounting it in the center, why not just have the dealership drill holes for a mount? Once i put either mount on, it aint coming off. I dont plan on moving any time soon, so I will always need my front plate. Dunno if I like the "boy racer" look of the gominigo tow hook bracket And heres a curve ball for y'all....... Im putting these on the front and back... From Sierra BMW |

I got the GoMini just because it's not blocking the intercooler/radiator/brake duct.
It looks pretty good once you get used to it. Not sure if it'll give me an advantage on stop light camera LOL. |

I say dont have a front plate. I live in Massachusetts with the dumbest laws of any state including a front plate requirement and I don't have one. 1 year and no problems yet unless you count a written warning but I was origionally pulled over for speeding

Center location looks best. Thing with Skene is that you're still drilling, it's just a question of location.... If you don't want to drill, go with GoMiniGo. If you're okay with drilling, why not just drill away and install a regular front license plate holder, especially if you've no plans to remove it?

The Skene kit rides in the trunk with the front plate. If I get hassled for the plate I have a plausible excuse.

I prefer the stronger build provided by CP-E.com. Which you don't need to get out in winter time and remove before entering the car wash.
