I'd need some iced coffee after looking at those hot cars.

Nice looking cars! The appearence of the 1M has grown on me over time. First I thought it looked too "cute" and "baby"-like and still on some pictures they still look that way but in person they look much more aggressive.

Absolutely love BSM 1M although I prefer to compliment it with chrome/silver gunmetal polished look

I especially love those front bumpers, very aggressive! Wish it would fit on my 3 series lol. The VO 1M's are
gorgeous too!

I must say, black/dark wheels must be extremely popular down under.
Yeh, so many 1Ms in one place was great to see, it would be fair to say that not two of the cars there had the same mod or cosmetic change. From exhaust to grills and wheels there were a lot of small differences.

Re the BSM (which is my 1 week old baby) they are pretty rare down under from what we know thus far.

There are 60 odd 1M owners on the 1Addicts site, approximately 20% of the Australian deliveries, so the below figures are fairly representative, I suggest, of the Aussie fleet.

Approximate:
Alpine white 60%
Valencia orange 30%
Black sapphire metallic 10%

BSM will probably only be around 30 cars out of the total current known number here/coming here of 301 cars.

1M's

Hey
Im certainly not disputing what a great car the 1M must be but on Australian roads I just dont see the point. The fastest we can drive down here is 110km/h and most of the time in the cities we are below 50 km/h. Not very practical for these rules.

Thats the reason I ended up choosing the 123D over the 135i. I'd have lost my licence now otherwise

Come to the Australian forum, post a suggested date and place. Wait for replies . We have a very active queensland group.

We actually had 6 1Ms in the BMW Qld run recently.

This kind of comment commonly comes up.

I say, it's not at what speed you are allowed to drive, it's how you get there =P

Now, do you think we can do it better with a Tri-state meet?
