Aquartz Iron Cut
I will be detailing my car next week while on vacation. Finally decided to take on the adventure myself since it will give me something to do while on vacation. I was just wondering on the cheapest place to pick up some Iron Cut since it seems everyone is using it and I haven't read any negative reviews on it. Thanks!

Any difference between Iron Cut, Iron X, and Wolf's WF-1P Deironizer?

OK.
What would make you choose one or the other for a particular job or is it just the particular detailer's personal preference? Sorry for being so inquisitive.

The best way to test it out would be to pick one and try it this time and buy the other one next time and try that product and see it for yourself. |

Yup... Just trying to make a somewhat reasonably logical decision.

In my recent post I've been talking about doing a paint cleaner application (zymol HD Cleanse) via porter cable...possibly no claying involved. Do I need this Iron Cut? I've heard many people talking about it...just never understood the need for it.

Maybe I'll give it a try for my winter-prep detail..
Can it be used on alloy wheels too?

Has anyone tried the Iron X Snow Soap: http://www.autogeek.net/carpro-snow-soap.html ?
Looks like it combines Iron X and soap, saving you one step in the washing process.
