I never had any issues with the 3 sets of fronts i've used on the track with -2.5 of camber. Where you maybe over driving the tires?

Heh, no off-track excursions.
Good for you!

Again, good for you!

Well, technically of course I was over-driving the tire. Chunks off rubber like that don't fly off just for fun .

You should try to go back to tire shop. It is a sport tire so they should do something about it.

If you start driving like a sharp shooter right off the bat without bringing the tires progressively up to temp you can kill tires pretty easily. Or if the course you're running is very choppy, like the final turn on Sebring, and you find your car is "side stepping" over road imperfections a lot then the tires can rip up pretty fast as well.

How do the inside edges look? What are you running for suspension? What road course were you running?

Looks like the tires were being overdriven and overheated.

Did you change camber at the track? What are your toe settings?

Chucwalla isn't choppy. Were you hoppin' curbs? Do all 4 tires look like that on the outside edges? What were you tire pressures set to?

Touching curbs here and there, but not excessively or in a way that upset the car.

Front two only. Rears look great.

Tried for 38 hot. Was hard to keep consistent. Rear seemed fine at 38, front wasn't happy. Tried 40 hot in front on later sessions.

Mine lasted a bit longer, but I had the same issue. A lot of speed combined with very soft shoulders causes the PSS's to wear very quickly on the front outer edges. I found 34 hot in the front seemed to be the happy spot. Still 500 miles is much quicker than would be expected. I got about 5k out of the fronts with multiple track days on them and I drive very aggressively so unless you are drifting corners or scalloping(rolling over) the tires then they were probably bad to begin with. If they won't replace them and you want to stick with them you could buy a used set of fronts on ebay that match the wear on the rears. Or try a different set altogether, RE-11's are my preference for a combo of track performance and tread wear, but there are tons of options and opinions on tires here.

Post a video of a session, and it would be very easy to tell.

If you're turning sub 2:10 laps on STREET TIRES you're definitely booking it big time. When I saw that on Youtube posted on the San Diego FB page, I thought...300 UTQG tires, it's probably the Pilot Super Sports. Then I thought, those tires can't possibly look THAT good after that lap...

Very fine driving. Very fine driving indeed. And no, no tire shop is going to "warranty" those tires.

Technically HPDE's are not timed events.
If I had to *guess* I'd imagine that lap was around 2:07.669...

But again, just guessing here...

I'd love to see a lap with ZII, Rivals or RS3s mounted
