performance/exhaust seats stolen
Hi there,
Last weekend, someone has stolen my performance seats + Meisterschaft exhaust. Any idea where I can retrieve those BMW performance seats ? I remember that someone from this forum posted a link where it was possible to buy new performance seats. Thanks for your help in advance !! |

Sorry for your loss. You may be out of luck on the seats. They have been discontinued by BMW and are very rare now. Possibly why they were stolen.
Good luck finding a new set.

Did your alarm go off? How did they enter the car? Meisterschaft exhaust is 1M specific: It might be the same scum that sniffled an other Swiss 1M the other month. Quote:

Hi there,
They broke the driver window, take off the seats, the shift knob and also the Meisterschaft exhaust. I dont know if the alarm worked. During "manipulations" they also broke the driver mirror Do you have more informations/details regarding this ? -> It might be the same scum that sniffled an other Swiss 1M the other month. THANKS !! |

To steal a shift knob really does not sound like international master thieves ... I really hope you can get your car restored and the 'gutted' feeling behind you asap. |

Ugh that is really shitty!!! Sorry to hear man, those seats are near impossible to get now. You could maybe consider the Recaro Sportster CS, however, it will be absent of the airbag. GL

Valid suggestion indeed, however in Europe they are easily available with the very same airbags that the performance seats came with.

Again, sorry OP. Hope you at least have your OEM seats available to use in the interim.

Hi dear All,
Thanks for your message. I found 2 brand new BMW Performance seats + I have also a another good proposition for LightWeight seats (they use same as BMW performance - recaro Sportster CS) and they can re-brand it with orange color. See the pictures. Nice !! |

A few years ago my daughter owned a 1966 Mustang and some asshole thief broke into it using a dent puller to pull out the door and trunk locks and stole her stereo. Lots of damage. I had to tell her the next morning (my baby). A sinking, violated, helpless feeling for sure. Feel your pain, bro. Glad you got the new seats.

So sorry to hear of your pain.
Having witnessed the anguish that any thefts can cause, I really do hate these sort of lowlifes with an unhealthy passion. I hope you get your car back to rude health soon. |

I have found that demon tweeks here in the UK can supply them in cloth or half leather half alacantara or even full leather £832.50 . you will be missing the bmw performance stitching in the headrest obviously.
One problem though is that they don't list the mounting rail for our e82s at all, they list it for the e90 but in brackets (non-M3) so any ideas as to sourcing the correct rail to mount it to our 1Ms ? |
