The hard soft setting is not to adjust the sound guys

It to adjust the responsiveness of the dv's to let the boost off

Stu from advan can do the transmission flash for you
OP FWIW my mate with a EFLEX sensor is reporting around E79 with united E85 by memory ATM.

Sounds like a long time coming with your mods, its always awesome when you get your car back after a major power mod and even better its not acting up chucking a hissy fit with misfires or something!!

Yup I'm very happy! Am going to flash with Trebilas tune as soon as I can.

And fix the sound of BOV on the DV lol. Not sure if it's inlets, intake or what but yeah. Getting used to it. Kind of wanted stealth.

Oil cooler is working too! On the highway it's easy 90c stable. Even at parts 85c.

What TS BOV do you have?

Yeah inlets certainly seem to induce a lot of extra turbo noises from what I've heard.

I have the Turbosmart kompact DV's and open AFE dual cone intake and can confirm that I also get induction noise at times. I like it but can understand the annoyance if you want full stealth. You can control it with light throttle inputs but the only real way to eliminate it is with a fully sealed airbox.

Even when running a full sealed box you can hear the dv's discharging when running high boost

The Fuel-It sensor? Are you serious? What's the benefit of getting the sensor then? I was expecting that it would be accurate, saving the need to use the test tube.

And were you referring to Caltex eFlex being E70 is the winter?

FWIW, I tested United E85 Race in the winter with a test tube and it was E89. I thought that it couldn't be correct so I tested it another three times - same result. And that was using separate water and fuel syringes to make sure the levels were exact. I remember you saying you've previously measured United lower than E85 so I wonder if that's only an issue with Sydney or southern states and we get the good stuff up here since we're local to the United refinery. All local reports put United measurements at E85-E90.

once you know the difference between the true reading and the actual reading on the sensor its not hard to - a few points every time you fill up

yes Caltex usually does around e70 in winter from what I seen in the past and it also helps with cold start issues

Yeah If it is minus a few points that would make it e70.

Also tightening it all the way down did make the sound much better... however it made it boost spike after shifts. (Marty told me before I did it and then I did it and it happened lol).

So right now ive got a few twists back from completely closed. No boost spike and sound isn't terrible!
