Question on specing car 135i with BMW performance parts (specifically seats)
Hi guys, this will be my first post, but it's nearing the time for my dad to purchase a new BMW.
We are looking into the 135i and have been wondering how we can order the OE BMW performance seats (along with some carbon trim, etc) if we take a custom order from the factory. I speced out the car on BMWUSA with what was available (perf. exhaust, short shift, brakes, steering wheel). I've seen the performance seats in some literature but was wondering how to order those seats with the car. Is it a port-of-entry option? Is it dealer installed? Or is it installed before it leaves the factory? Will our dealer be able to check off what other options that aren't seen on the BMWUSA website? Here is a pic of said seats: |

yep. the rest of the stuff should be available from the dealer (or other places that sell BMW parts). Check the vendor section. I am sure there are a few posts about the best place/price on the cf trim.

they are BMW parts but not available as a factory install. You can buy them and install them yourself or have the dealer do it. The dealer will not be cheap. There are a few DIY on how to install the trim pieces in the DIY section.

BMW Performance seats are Recaro Sportster CS, just with airbags.
