Resonator Delete

Anyone here had a reso delete? I've currently got a stock 135i muffler on the car, it's pretty loud and doesnt drone
would be interested to hear from someone thats done it before, whether it would drone badly or if it would be livable, and what it sounds like in person..
pretty close to just taking the risk and doing it lol

Yup, my resonator is deleted. Still no drone what so ever, just nice beautiful BMW 6 cylinder exhaust note. My exhaust clip is in the media thread.

I still have my resonator on, but i have bmwpe and secondary cat delete. Sounds glorious. No drone whatsoever. So i doubt removing the resonator will make anything sound too bad.

Garage List
I've done a resonator delete (replaced with the 135i PE Y-Pipe), with the stock rear muffler (+golf tee mod) on my 130i

Custom piping? How did you particularly go about deleting your secondaries? Very interested, thanks.

Cut them off, welded 2.5" pipes into their place. had a custom exhaust shop do it. Charged me 60$. Just make sure its a good shop and check the welds before you leave.

Not something to do if you are keeping the car long term.
