In the performance catalogue they don't list anything bigger than 215s up front. I WAS hoping to be able to get at least 235s up front. I wonder if this might be a problem, is anybody else concerned about this..? I would like to have: 235/40R18 255/35R18 I hope this is possible without any rub. |

Fwiw, there's plenty of hatches on babybmw that run 235's up front. I have a set of 4 255's on ltw-5 17x9 wheels that I want to cram in there. Rub on full lock is okay, and I don't mind a mild rolling, since it's only for driving events, and not parallel parking.

You're the man, Larry! You are talking my kind of wheel/tire setup for autocrossing.
Garrett, unless you go with at least 18x8 wheels up front those 235s will be a little pinched. I'm hoping to go with unstaggered 18x8.5 with 245x35 all around for street.

Good idea... going to check some E87 websites. Really hope 235s will fit up front. I'll feel happier ordering up the Neez QD7's...! |

A lot of the pieces look a little too tuner-ish to me. I'm sick of all that crap. I love the steering wheel and the wheels though. Seats are pretty cool... but I dunno if I'd want them.

Yep...
A German side-dish. The old-fashioned German way is to use a cutting board: spread the dough flat on the board, then with a flat spatula, cut little ribbons off the edge and push them into rapidly boiling salted water. Or, use a spatzle press. The idea is to push the dough through holes about 3/8 inches in diameter and let them fall into the boiling water - a colander with large holes will work well. If using a colander, use a large metal spoon to push the mixture through the holes. A spaetzle press can be ordered on the internet. Ingredients 1 cup All-purpose flour¼ cup Milk2 Eggs½ t Ground nutmeg1 pinch Freshly ground white pepper [optional]½ t Salt1 Gallon hot water2 t Butter2 t Chopped fresh parsley [optional] Preparation Sift together dry ingredients. Alternately add the beaten eggs and milk to make a smooth mixture. Continue working the dough, picking it up as you whisk to incorporate air into the mixture and make it a little bubbly. It should be a thick, "dropping" consistency. Press this dough through a spaetzel maker or a large-holed sieve or metal grater. Drop a few at time into the gently simmering liquid and cook for 5-8 minutes. **When the spatzle rise to the surface of the boiling water, give them a gentle stir and cook for about 20 seconds more, then drain briefly in a clean colander before tossing with butter, salt, and pepper. Serve immediately.

^Say again.
I like the grill, and the rear defuser. I don't like that body kit at all. However I have never been into looks. I like as close to OEM on the skin, and a no-holds-bar, on the inside.

I have to agree. I would leave the standard 135i front fascia (looks more M'ish to me), and take the rear valance, deck spoiler, grill, and maybe the side mirrors. I like the wheels also..

I work at Leith BMW in Raleigh NC USA. I printed out the German Performance Catalog from the link at the beginning of this thread. MSRP for the steering wheel is $1000. There are some available in Germany so that means we SHOULD be able to order them and have them for sale here. I don't know if it will be a bolt and plug and play application or what. The part numbers for the seats are not showing up as valid numbers which makes me think they will not be available. (BMW NA's legal army gets a little nervous when talk turns to racing seats with 5-point harnesses) The alloy wheels are available now. They are the same wheel that came on the '03-'06 E46 330i ZHP (performance) package cars. The only difference is they machined them for less weight and clear-coated them rather than painting them. When BMW unveiled they current Performance line they told us that they would be bringing out more items in the spring and that most of those items would be for the 1 series. As soon as I know anything more I'll pass it along. Although as the forums seem to find out stuff before the dealers do maybe you guys will pass along the info to me.
