Thanks guys.

Seems no where has Michelin pilot super sports in 255/35/18. Only Tirerack in US.

i had the same prob with that size. for some reason no one can get them in those dimensions here in aus.

you have to go to the 40 profile. works fine unless you are really lowered.

I order mine from www.tyroola.com in sydney. Fast shipping to your door (1-3 days) and best prices by a LONG shot in Australia.

Alpha, I am not lowered. I though 40s would not fit our car?

I'm on stock suspension and it's fine. Speedo is good as well, actually made the speedo 100/100 instead of the usual 3km odd difference.

Taller profile also helps with traction too!

Ended up purchasing from Tyroola. 40s on rear fit fine. They are big but also as you said marty, more grip. Am able to plant without too much traction issues.

Just made a quick enquiry on tyroola for MPSS 265/35ZR19 (98Y) ... $523 each.

I bought a pair from BJ Hornsby recently for $320 each.

Peeps should really shop and call around a lot more.

Yeah shop around then get them to price match.. That's what I did.. Tempe was cheaper on rears, but didn't have a place close enough for install

We don't need All Season tyres here in Australia. No one even sells them I guess.

Well no, but you wouldn't be the first to mistake one tyre model for another when they have 4 in the lineup with little to tell them apart. I bought mine from Tyroola when they had a 4 for the price of 3 deal on, which made them cheaper than anywhere through a store.
