There was a guy on the forum a while ago that first started selling them for like 60 bucks and then the price kept jumping up for a while. I'm not sure if he still has them, or who he is. He said that for some reason BMW decided to start making them more expensive, so he had to do the same just to break even or something like that. If that's true, then I doubt you'll find any for less than $100.

I can purchase one here in Europe and just mail it to you.

I'll have to swing by the dealer and check on the price.

PM me if interested.

You can also just buy the piece to activate the button (or use lego). All you have to do is cut the tabs on the switch and install the piece. I wrote a DIY on this a while back.

Cost $0.15 and 15 minutes

I paid 67 euros for m switch. And that was without the 19% German sales tax! 67 euros is about $95 USd at today's exchange rates. Most pllaces that import things will double or tripple the price before selling it in the states. Same thing goes for German companies over here who bring in stuff from the USA. You guys should see what American car wax sells for over here! What would cost $8 in the states sells for 30 euros over here!! Everyone over here knows American (Ami) stuff if better than German stuff! lol We want euro clear corners while Germans want/like our orange corners! The grass is ALWAYS greener. lol

lol.... and let the mod's begin! I was thinking it would take you a few weeks Rick to mod your M. But its not even one day!!! Yea... the 1M gotta have those rear brake fogs just like the 135i does. I bet your euro switch from your 135i would be a "plug and play". I think its only the outward cosmetics (ie the chrome part of the headlight switch) thats different from the 135i switch.

Looks like this will be your first mod.
