Chunner, I'm afraid you are a victim of marketing.

The political ads that are currently running ad nauseam (pun intended) need to have someone to influence otherwise they would be pointless. I just had not understood, until now, for whom they were intended.

Hey chunner, maybe you should take your command of the english language elsewhere. I say performing because I mean the products literally perform better. And if I shorten enough to nuff, maybe its because I have style. You on the other hand, all day tool.

Chunner is here to hug Dinan's nuts, correct grammer, and ignore any points I ask him to comment on about how this doesn't even have the Dinan warranty...the only thing that Dinan fanboys have going for them.

His other thread he just started was how stanceworks thinks dinan is awesome lol. Stance bro!

Although this is poorly worded, I couldn't agree more. As a technician at a fairly busy dealership, I've seen more issues with Dinan crap than I have with Burger Tuning's piggyback boxes.

Chunner not going to touch on the fact that these turbos have no warranty, making them expensive shittier RBs?

Also whats up with these very differing claims...

I've got an AMS intercooler waiting to go into my car, but I can slap a dinan sticker on it and tell you it'll make 84 TQ if you want to buy it for $3k?

LOL.... My good man darkrom. Although I have not given much thought to your posts. I truly do not understand your attacks or your negativity. However, it is clearly apparent to me that you do care what I write.

Nevertheless, I have not contradicted myself. There is nothing wrong with the two statements you have quoted from posts. In addition, thank you for taking the time to read all of my many posts. I am honored.

I like BMW and I will buy BMW engineering, research and development. I like Dinan and I will buy Dinan engineering, research and development. If you do not like it. Well, what can I write... Others would write, "go fuck off asshole" but I will not.

I will simply state: "to each there own because many minds are allowed to differ".

Hey Indo Rider. No need to explain yourself. I get it. You did not say performing. You WROTE "peforming". I know. I mean, I understand that you wrote just how you speak. It is a common failing with our youth. Just like how you WROTE the word "nuff" when you wanted to write "enough" and now think you have style because you can not spell.

Downeaster1, I respect your posts. Always have. Unlike others who rant, you contribute to this forum and I have found your previous posts and threads helpful. Thank you.

In response to your post today, I am sure you do not see much piggy box problems because everybody pulls it out when that box breaks something. I know... "Why cant they be big boys and own up to what they broke and say. Yup, I broke my car. How much to fix it?"

Nevertheless, I am glad you have seen your share of Dinan problems at your dealership. That is another reason why I am happy, so that I can bring my car to a BMW dealership when something goes wrong with all that Dinan stuff I had installed. I am even happier when I drop off my broken car and drive off in a BMW loaner till my broken car is not broken anymore. Just wonderful, is it not?

I'm pretty sure you don't get it. How old do you think I am? How old are you old man? I'll put my academic credentials up against yours if you want. Maybe you want to compare number of papers published? SAT/GRE/FE scores? Maybe we can have a spelling bee or geography bowl? Or maybe just a good ole fist fight? Or maybe you can just take your head out of your ass for a bit and try to recognize why so many people object to your posts. I'm tolerant of people who want to run dinan products... to each their own right? I'm not tolerant of people spreading propaganda and misinformation.

bhp = crank hp. So, yeah those are not dyno numbers. He probably has zero clue what his power-plant is actually putting down. Hope you have a colonoscopy scheduled, 'cause crank power/tq figures are about as useful as a lot of warm air up your ass.

Awww.
Did I hit a nerve? I want you to read my first post on this thread. It is post #10. My first sentence was "I would disagree with you sir." Then, I would like you to read your first post on this thread. It is post #20. Your first two sentences were "Hey chunner, you sound like a chump. Take your dinan fanboy shit elsewhere."

This is a forum. Where everybody can come together to express their opinions. If you start off with "... you sound like a chump. Take your ... shit elsewhere." and I respond with a witty retort and you start to whine, I mean drone on and on. Just keep walking and forget this thread. Carry on.

Whilst I don't have a tune from Dinan, I do have their oil cooler, monoball front bushings and rear end toe links. All brilliant products and worth the premium you pay. I'm really enjoying them all without any issues to report.

Plenty of Dinan hate on this forum. Don't think I have ever seen a Dinan thread without bashing of their products lol

They have 15% off this month by the way And there are two Turbo parts for the N54 from memory. One is a rebuilt turbo with upgraded wastegates, one is a compressor wheel upgraded turbo which doesn't come with warranty.

One benefit is for a 2012+ N55, Dinan is the only tune that can flash to the ECU directly and that to me is appealing. I'm willing to remove my JB4 for it because I'm missing the ability to use things like my torque app or an awron guage as JB4 makes the CAN bus busy

Yup. The rebuilt replacements are mildly interesting since I believe BMW parts no longer carry a warranty as of 6 months ago. They are still DOUBLE the cost of the original BMW turbo units though.

If one's car is under waranty, I would jump on Dinan in a heartbeat (provided I had the money to do so). I'm not dogging Dinan eihter; I know they have a lot of quality products, I just feel they are expencive.

I agree with you on the "piece of mind" aspect. My cars bus systems are so screwy since I've done the M3 cluster, CAS, and NBD retrofit that they key read says that I have 10 Million + miles on my car. I don't let them do a key read in fear that it will be logged somewhere

Yes, peace of mind comes into play but for me, it is truly all about the convenience factor. Time is valuable, I value that more then anything else.

+1 on this sentence. By far.... I still think the M3 cluster you have installed in your 1er as the most awesome mod ever!

Bro, some people are hobbyists.. others are drivers. Juice Box is for people who lease and want to pose. DINAN is for people who don't want to mess around and are going to abuse their car at the track.
