20" wheels on the 1er?
I havnt been able to find a 1 series with 20" wheels. Forgestar makes some nice wheels that are awesome because of the custom offsets available.
Would it even be close if i tried to squeeze 20x8.5 ET45 in the front and 20x10 ET55 in the rear? Its the same position inboard as the Apex ARC-8 and further in than some of the VMR 9.5 ET45 wheels. The biggest problem would be fitting proper tires in there, but Michelin makes a really wide variety of sizes which would be my tire choice either way.

You'll find most people don't go that big on the 1er. I've seen a couple pics around here with 20's but that was a while back. 18's and 19's are the norm, but 20's will fit if you get the right offsets and tires.

Not to mention the forgestar 20" are lighter than most VMR 18s

I can only imagine the rough ride that comes with such a small sidewall with 20's. I agree with most others, they just don't look right on 1ers(or any car in general really) 19's already look big to me. Though i am more of a function over fit kinda guy.

Wow.....those are 20's????? Honestly look more like 19's but maybe it's my glasses
if done right they might look ok but you would have ot be very careful with dips and bumps or hard cornering.

Wheel diameter =/= monster truck. You can actually lower your car using larger diameter wheels with smaller diameter tires.
