Seems about the same to me, I have to drive them back to back.

I know the 1 series hatch has been out for a while in Europe, but when you ordered it back in 2004 were you ordering a coupe, because I didn't even think they had made an announcement about the coupe coming out until last year, maybe I'm just out of the loop though.
Only thing I would change about the 1 series coupe is that I wish they got the same sports package "M" wheels as they have in Europe, either way it looks great in Alpine with the black interior and trim. |

When I ordered back in 2004 I was hoping for an "M" version. At the time there was discussion that the car would be a 2-series (coupes even numbers and sedans odd numbers) but the 2 never happened and they went with 1 instead. Note the year of the car as 200?

I've always found one of the best ways to aquaint yourself with a car is to give it a wash. It got a little dirty this morning and the sun came out here this afternoon so why not.

Few more. BTW, those are Mercedes mats I had laying around. Dealer said there are no mats in the USA, not very good planning by BMW NA.

Congrats Ringmeister! It looks awesome.
I've never liked white cars. For some reason this car is a major exception. It's a 10. Enjoy!!

You placed an order for a car 4 years before it was available - that is nuts! But in a good way. You have the patience of Job.
You truly deserved to be one of the first ones to get their car! Agree with Gill - I also am no fan of white cars, but yours really looks sweet and the interior really compliments it. |

Thanks. I have another order sheet for an E92 M3 on the same date. That one I passed on, decided to get the 135i instead.

I swung by Hunterdon BMW on Rt 22 this morning and saw a very lucky gentleman taking delivery of his silver 135.
This is the first 135 I have seen in real life but I have to say the silver shows off the curves so well... beautiful car and I am now convinced this is my next car! Oh and the gentleman said he is a member of 1Addicts... I took some pics but will wait for his permission before posting...

Keeping it, it's been one of my favorite cars ever. 46k miles and not one problem.

AWESOME I cant wait until my Alpine White 135 turns up.The high gloss black looks fantastic, we can't get that in Australia - so I had to go with Alu trim. I may need to retrofit it though later...
Lets see some videos, driving, of the exhaust.. Looks great! I bet your over the moon! |
