Sanity check pls
Just picked up my 135i Vert and it has summer run flats - need a winter set up pronto. I have michelin pilot alpin tires already in Tire Size: 225/40-18 and am looking at using wheels with the following specs - Size: 18X8 - Offset: +40mm - I assume I won't have issues but wanted to check with you all. thanks. PS quick picture of car - it was hell just getting it off the drive to shovel!

I think ET40's will work. But I am no wheel expert! Maybe ask Gill@TireRack. You can find him here and PM him.
A while back at the car coding event in Nuernberg... I met this guy with a white e87 hatch. he put (four) rear wheels from a Z4M (e86) winter wheels. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...77&hg=36&fg=15 Light alloy rim 7.5j X 18 ET:41 36112282590 BMW AG was blowing out these M-wheels for a measly 60 euros per wheel! Normally they are around 400 euros each! So... I think your wheels should fit. Good Luck, Dackel |

Rears should be fine, front will probably work as well, but you are going wider with a lower offset so you will be closer to the fender.
