Of 2 minds about this...
So to cover this (which happened on the border run a few weeks back):
I got a quote on fixing it and was told it would be a full bonnet respray So I carefully sanded it down and touched it up with the BMW kit but it was still REALLY visible... Thought I'd try something to cover it until I get around to getting the respray... I actually had all 3 stripes but the 3rd one is white (on the bimmian site there are 2 greys and a black) and the black one is as long as I could make it with the length they gave me... Not sure if I like it or not... Thoughts? |

I think it looks pretty decent. If you get sick of it then just go to a paint shop and ask them to do the best they can with touchup paint and live with it until you get more damage and redo the whole bonnet.

That was pretty much my thoughts... Would have liked to get all 3 stripes on there though...
This is the colours they show on the Bimmian site: Thought that would look pretty awesome on white... |

Something to do with shards of carbon flying into occupants and pedestrians in the event of an impact I'm led to believe. |

Maybe a matt black the whole bonnet I have been thinking (just thinking of course, it hurts to think too much) about doing the Cayman R bonnet that way.

It's OK if the car came with it (or can be dealer/factory optioned)... Otherwise no.... Pretty sure that most Lambos don't meet the minimum ride height either... |

Just do all three cars. You may sell the M3 quicker if it's wrapping in a matt black. It may even go faster |

Matte would be slower as the drag co-efficient would be higher than gloss...
I don't think you'd actually be able to measure the difference but still... |
