Climate control screwed up? Need help before next week.

I posted two weeks back about my climate control, asking if anyone could comment about theirs in comparison to mine. Unfortunately, no one commented. My car is going in next week to the dealer so I'd very much appreciate some comments from the 1'ers in Canada.

The problem:

Last year my AUTO climate control worked perfectly. This year, when it warms up, I get a blast of super cold air through the dash vents for about 30 seconds, and then hot for about 2 minutes, and then back to cold. Even if I take it off AUTO, and have the top , bottom and dash vents selected, it still does the same cold hot repetition. I've got the car book for next week (last time it was in BMW said it was "normal"). Can you let me know how your car is behaving? btw I have the temp at 20c.

Well, lots of people looking, but only one reply. Should I assume that everyone else does NOT have my problem? Now that it is warmer, the cold air only comes on once in the warm up cycle and then not again, whereas when it was below -20c it cycled through every two minutes or so through the middle dash vents. It even did this in NON auto mode.

I'm going in tomorrow to the dealership, so if anyone else could comment tonight, I'd appreciate it so I can let the dealership know that I couldn't find anyone else with the same problem.

p.s. after the latest computer upgrade, my mileage is about 1.5-2l/100km lower. Hope it gets better.

Doesn't sound normal to me... Mine is set to 22C... once the car is warm, only warm air comes out until the car is turned off...
