CX Racing Intercooler for N55
Just bought the CX Racing intercooler for the N55. It should be here in about a week.

Thanks. I think it requires slight trimming, but nothing major, and it is a bolt-on kit. We shall see. I will report back of course. I like the way it looks from the front end more than other FMIC's like the ETS, AA, etc. It has a larger core than most other IC's, but is just slightly smaller than the Big Tom. Big Tom requires some major modifications.
It was $650 after shipping, and that's for the whole kit, all the pipping, clamps, and air shroud.

Looks good. My friend is running a CX Racing FMIC on his SRT4.

Thanks! It was difficult. It probably took about 8-9 hours. Lots of cutting. So worth it though!!

Only slightly, it would help when removing the undertray, fender liners, etc... but most of the work takes place from the engine bay and front of the car... the biggest thing is having a good grinder/cutter to remove all the plastic.
Definitely can feel more torque, especially in gears 2-4... however, I don't have any dyno data or 1/4 mile runs yet to confirm any major differences. The biggest improvement is in IAT, especially with the hot weather we get here in the Lou.

No chin spoiler? I am disappoint. JK. Very sick car. Do you have a 225/255 setup on the LM's? I've never been a fan of a stretch but you seem to have just the right amount, and it just works on those wheels.

It used to be 225/255... but it currently is a 215/255 setup. The fronts are stretched, but I actually like the look. I was also able to drop the front of the car another 1/2-inch too with the smaller tire.

No "longer" lag. Our cars don't really have turbo lag, especially if you are running a tune. I mean, we reach full torque at about 1200 rpm, so.... yeah... Runs cooler. No limp mode at the track with 130-140 degree track temperatures. I'm running 15-16 psi. I got the hood from a race team. It's an iCarbon M3-style with open vents, no longer made. The latches are Aero-Catch latches that they installed.
