ARGH ! Mega new car fail !
Just had a 135i in AW delivered and was over the moon. Good spec and price, but just gone to connect my phone and NO BLUETOOTH PREP ! ! !
Feck feck feck it ! It has ProNav, DAB, USB audio interface.... BUT no bluetooth connection. WTF! I'm really gutted... it it retrofittabe? Dec 2007 |

Have found out its a pretty simple and inexpensive retrofit as I have the USB module (6LF)...

Yeah you can DIY it if you buy the boot module, I think as you have the 6FL USB interface then it's pretty simple if you don't mind playing with wires. If you have a spare £600 (cheaper than BMW will quote you to install the OEM version, circa £1000) then look into Mobridge or Fiscon, like-OE functionality with full radio and steering wheel control .
I do however have the BT Phone Prep in mine as standard and I rate it highly. The voice recognition can be a ball ache at times but it saves you taking your hands off of the wheel. I'd never have a car without this or NAV professional again. |

Hmm..... I'll look down the back of the sofa, but pretty sure it's been cleaned out by the wife lol c£100 for the Bluetooth aerial, microphone, couple of wires and a re-code is the option I'm going for |
