Yeah I don't like the look of the C63 Black with the Aero pack which was quite an expensive option I believe...all those wings is not a good look for such a smooth and coherent design. Looks much better without the rear wing especially!

First, trivialities, no Bluetooth (so no iPhone connection), no parking sensors.

The 6 + hours driving home was a pleasure! comfy! ride was very acceptable (much better than a Cayman R and waaaaay better than a WAY modded Polo GTi). The economy over the trip was 10.7, which is acceptable. The noise is laughably awesome!! The car didn't tramline as would/could be expected either.

I'm yet to drive her locally, so I'll reserve judgement until I get some sleep and after I de-bug the dirty pig.

Congrats on the new ride. Agree with WAY, I love those CF door cards. But my favourite feature is the engine. Enjoy

Congratulations John, beautiful car! these are very very special, cant wait to see it real life

I joined a group on early morning drive last year one of them had a CLK DTM (a private import), which I didnt know even existed....very close to Black. It just owned the streets - the GTR, S5, E92M3, my 1M may not as well have been there...lol

congrats again!

Thanks BMW and Saurabh.

The DTM is one radical version, only 100 cars were ever built, of which, only 40 were built in RHD. None were offered in Aus by Merc so, yeh, pretty special. They are selling for ~US$250k at the moment OS if you want one, lol.

It's old school noise and is VERY tail happy, rolling starts would be better for the 285 pirellis I think. AND man does it enjoy 98 octane hahahaha, a leisurely cruise into town and back usually runs 12l/100 in the 1M, the black sucks 21l/100 GULP, who cares
