Hi All, glad to join the community
My differential on my 325i must be laid to rest unfortunately. I'm looking to install a new differential, and I'm wondering is the OEM differential P/N 7519941 the only directly compatible differential I can purchase ? Or would a 330i differential be a straight swap ?

Based in Dublin, Ireland just for reference.

330i diff flange attaches to the driveshaft via a guibo with 3 bolts (and has a lower ratio). 325i diff flange is 4-bolt. Not compatible. 323i diff is compatible if you got those in Ireland.

You could try looking up part numbers on real.oem to be sure what will fit what.
And also you should take the opportunity to swap to differential from an automatic car if you want to increase torque by making your gears a bit shorter
