When do the cornering lights come on?!?

What exactly are the cornering lights? i guess the ones on the inside of the lowbeams?

when do they go on? bc i just GP Thundered them...

According to the manual, the adaptive lamps (for cornering) go on automatically, as long as you have the light switch on 'auto'.

They also both illuminate when you shift into reverse for some reason.

take acruise down a dark country road sometime, and turn the wheel at low speeds; you can see them adn they are actually quite useful. also good for when pulling weird manoeuvres in parkades.
