Hi,
Wondering if anyone has installed an AiM MXG or Motec C127 display in their iDrive compartment on the dash before? I don't have an iDrive console so my compartment is vacant and ready to be put to better use rather than holding sunglasses. I thought it may be a good compromise in keeping the OEM dash and adding the functionality of either kit. Both can run off OBDII ports. Is is possible to integrate JB4 outputs into these via their second input? I would need to find someone to fabricate a housing to accommodate either unit so it looks the part. The AiM really has some great features and has caught my attention at the moment. I would love any input here, costly but would be rather unique and handy for track events. First link doesnt work.
Pretty much anything that runs from the OBD port has the possibility of not functioning as intended when you have a jb4 installed as it hijacks the CAN-Bus |
