Be very careful NOT to get water in the intake pipes !!!! I heated them and stretched them while the clamps were tight to ensure they were sealed.

Yeah it was tough getting the back intake pipe back in I sprayed a little wd-40 on the outside to get it to slide in far enough before securing it...

Great, this is exactly the kind of response that I expected from the great team at Riss Racing and you didn't let me down.

It was simpler than I thought. They just bolted an angled piece of metal to the C-bracket. Works fairly well, should have been like this from the start. Install is only a problem because everything is so tight, I had to remove the plenum and filter to have enough room to work in there. It puts the reservoir farther towards the center of the car and lower and shouldn't interfere with the DDV or intercooler. This also provides some more clearance for the filter in the front.
As always, full sized are here. |

I haven't seen this covered in this thread yet, but I thought it was important enough to mention this just in case. A note for installation, be sure to clean out the inside of your intake before installing. I found some chunks of what looked like grey mud inside the tubing. I cleaned it out by hand, then used a compressor to blow out any remaining debris; hopefully I got all of it. Otherwise installation went pretty well (can't wait for the mailman to drop off the plenum!).
