once you've been on here for so long, there's basically nothing else to talk about. All the topics have been covered (over and over).

anyhoo- did anyone mention "what color is you E90"??

Yes... Kind of proves the point, even within the same thread the forum repeats.

Ha ha ha! I'm trying. The weather is absolutely stunning this time of year--all the trees and flowers are blooming, the grass is finally getting green...but my allergies!

Most of the threads listed are just due to people not using the search feature. So, excluding those, here are my all-time favorites:

1) KAS exhuast looks so damn hot
2) Some Cold Stone bitch gave me too much ice cream and it spilled/ruined my trunk
3) I told my CA I'd give him all 5's on survey but I instead gave him all 0's - help!
4) Is it ok for me to debadge my 325 with 162's and put 330 badge on it?
5) BMWNA lost a set of spares when shipping my car back from Europe to the US! I hate BMWNA! I hate BMW ED! Should I get a refund?
6) Will an E90 make me more attractive to women?
7) I took my car in for service and they messed with my radio/CC settings - should I return the vehicle? Is it broken?
8) My boyfriend drove my car, bent my rim, and won't pay for the whole repair!

Yup, that thread, started by DonneyGirl or something, holds two trophies because he's also the starter behind "Will the E90 make me more attractive to women?"

Here is onother perl from one of the member of this forum:

Ok, I placed my order today for a Jag Xk. - cant wait.

However, I will be keeping my e90.

1) Need a car I dont care about, to beat up, not worry on where I am parking, city driving.

2) I have associates that cant know I have tons of money when I meet with them, the e90 is good because its a ok-nice car to make a impression with, however it wont create jealousy amoung the people that actually make me money.

Two things I hate on forums:

1- People that bitch about people posting stuff that could be found in the manual: The title says it all, if you don't like the question don't click the thread. Pretty much any question about the car can be answered somewhere, if not that manual then on BMW's website or Google.

2- People that bitch about reposts: Not everyone is here to read every thread that exists 24/7, and there are new members joining all the time that might like to participate in new discussions rather than search and read threads from 6 months ago. Forums are supposed to be interactive. I understand posting a question that has been beaten to death, or starting a new thread instead of finding a pre-existing one to add to... but come on.

Anyway, if you eliminated all the topics in this thread there would be no posts on this board.

Excellent points. And that's why we don't make it a policy of locking any thread asking a question that has been asked before or can be found in the manual.

Sure it's courtesy to use the search function and the manual is an obvious choice to go to for many questions, but sometimes people simply forget to search or can't find the answer readily in a search (i.e. too common a search term) or can get an answer here faster than they can flipping through the manual.

That said, there are some threads mentioned above that are definitely silly though
