Can't believe I just saw this thread, but it deserves a bump. Frankly, I cannot even begin to THINK about how such a process is organized. All those pipes, jigs, etc., and nearly all work is manual, incredible.

Thanks, now I'm all bummed out I'm not driving those incredible Italian roads again. I've never been in a country that had such a perfect balance of traffic enforcement.

People say that driving in Italy is horrible and all messed up without any laws and such... but that's purely because it looks like that. In reality, it's all organized and everyone knows what to do and what not.
