Clothes when you go out....

I am a very casual dresser, and I never wear anything trendy or too girly. When we go out to dinner, the movies, etc., I always wear a sweater and jeans. Now sometimes my boyfriend's friends want to go out to clubs and I've never been to one and I don't know what I would wear. I know that some places don't let you wear jeans, so are girls obligated to wear a dress or a skirt? I don't own any dresses or skirts and my boyfriend told me about 15 minutes ago that we're going out somewhere tonight and I don't know what to do..
I would like to wear just jeans and a sweater, or maybe khaki pants, but would I look out of place wearing that at a club? I've seen girls when they go out to these places and I do not wish to dress like them in any way. They're all wearing lingerie and skimpy skirts with platform heels. I don't want to fit in with them, but I don't want to look out of place...

I went to a club/bar last night. I wore tight pair of jeans, with a black long tube top and some black stilletto boots. Classy, yet Sexy..

If the place is "dressy" wear some black tight pants and cute top (i.e-halter, tube, tank). If its a casual place, then id do jeans and platforms.

Hmm, well I don't really have any tops besides plain long sleeve shirts, plain sweaters...I have some Victoria's Secret lacy thing but I don't think I'd feel comfortable wearing it in public. I don't have any tube tops or halter tops. My problem is that I don't have any girls to go to the mall with to tell me what to buy lol.

LoL, well im going to FL in april, we'll shop and get some cute tops haha. Im gonna be in Ft lauderdale.

You can always dress things up. Add some nice earrings, or necklaces.

Lol awesome, I think I'm going to Ft. Lauderdale tonight, if not Miami.

For jewelery I just have some plain yellow and white gold stuff. I don't have any cheaper stuff but I guess the plain jewelry works..it's better than none.

Nice, should be fun! Im sure youll pull something off. Always buy atleast 2 club/sexy tops.. that way you always have them for backup

LoL, thats when tailoring comes into place. I took my halloween costume to get altered, it was HUGE on me.. I get alot of my clothes tailored. Cost money, but in the end its worth it.. fits me just right.

Even a pair of black dress slacks or capri pants with a classy top and nice shoes would be a choice... not that I'm a fashion guru or anything.

YOu need to make sure you have a nice outfit or two for occasions just like this.

I do not know your body type...but sounds like you are on the small side...so just make sure things fit a little on the snug side...will make you look sexy. Oh...yeah...accessories really help!

Trust me...guys like it when their women look good going out at night...but you do need to be somewhat comfortable in doing so. Nothing less attractive than an unhappy girl in an outfit that she does quite fit into.

I am no fashion expert...but I know good sexy women when I see them :rocks:

When i go out and i dont wana wear a dress.. you can wear form fitting black dress pants with heels and like a silky cami

and accessorize it well and itll be good to go

or OMG what are those pants called? i have htem but i duno waht they're called.. tehyre liek shorts but not really but they're not pants etiher.. they go to about mid-calf and they're liek capris but big andddd girls wear it with liek flats and liek tanks and stuff. those are nice if u wera black ones.. or any color will be good if u can accessorize it. i mean anyyything will look good. it really just depends on WHO wears it and HOW they wear it ;] good luck!!
