Can't get them....well can't get them in the sizes needed. Lots of us have tried.

Just because they are OEM fit doesn't mean they can as yet be supplied through the aftermarket suppliers.....as daft as that may seem to be to anyone outside of the UK

I'm not too bothered anyway.......I think the P Zero's are likley every bit as good.

I know people who come here from the UK with empty suitcases to buy clothes. Maybe you could bring some really big suitcases and buy some tires.

The only problem with going through the hassle of importing a set is you are stuffed if you get a non-repairable puncture in a tyre, and you either have to put on a new other make (defeats the object of importing a set of PSS in the first place) or have to buy one of the BMW space saver kits and potentially run that on the car for how ever long it takes (likely weeks) to import another tyre to replace the unrepairable one.

That's a LOT of potential hassle (and expense) just for a set of tyres when there are 'as good' alternatives available in the UK........IMHO.

The P Zero's seem to be a good choice but again, aren't available in 275 35 18 over here.

If anyone has any more suggestions for tyre places that will ship to the UK, please let me know.

275 seems a bit extreme for a 135.....I'm guessing you are running BIG power, 9.5" rear rims and rolled arches to fit them......??

You can get Toyo R888 in 275/35x18 size in the UK, which are a road legal sticky 'track day' oreintated tyre, would that be an option for you?

The R888 is a amazing tire! Although a little loud for the street. A 265/35/18 would yield slightly better performance for a 9.5in wheel.

Would also recommend the AD08 for the OP but might not to do so well in the cold climate. GL

Rears: 265/35ZR18 - $216.81(per tire)
70 bucks in shipping
~870+90 bucks to get them mounted and balanced
~$960

They're through a company I've never used before, but my local discount tire offered a similar price(a total of 40 bucks more expensive for all 4 tires).

Forgot to mention the price total:

Discount tire quoted me for $997.12.
I can't find this kind of price for the life of me. Best I can get is $1,075 OTD with a statewide tire shop (plus the $70 Michelin rebate). That includes a mediocre tire protection plan, but I haven't verified it with a person at the store yet.

My local Discount Tire wants $1,200 and will throw in a $100 rebate for Memorial day. $1,070 without tire protection plan, and then the $100 rebate.

Well I had my Michelin PSS installed yesterday and I am extremely happy with my purchase. It is literally night and day difference compared to my runflats that I had on before. My local tire shop had the best prices that just couldn't be beat either, $950 mounted and balanced for the 235/40 and 265/35, and I still have to get the Michelin rebate.

I can still make them spin a little bit in 2nd gear, but its very predictable now and traction is substantially improved from before where I would fishtail easily.

I'd love to have these tires! A 265 PSS runs like a 275/285 with other tire brands correct? What wheels/offsets are you on?

Not sure on the size compared to other brands, but it is a substantial difference compared to what I had before. I'll post a picture later today to show the difference side by side. I have Apex ARC-8's as well.

I search to no avail: Do you guys think the PSS would make a stock non-M suspension too soft and mushy? I know there aren't many who opted out of the sport package on the 128. I may do rear bushing and front sway bar at some point, but I'll probably get new tires before I do.

Thanks man, huge difference! Think there is room for 245/275 set up? Apex website says there should be room. But I'm thinking the PSS would require some fender modification or additional camber.
