Brand new 2011 135i 300mi, "break pads are worn" light?

Just got the car and am getting the break pads are worn light. I'm going on a long trip tomorrow and the dealership can't check it out till next week. Any ideas? Should I be concerned? The car is 1mo old. 300miles on the odometer.

I believe something is wrong with wires of brake pad sensor

Don't use the brakes, you will be fine, LOL.

commen sence says one month old must mean breaks are fine..but you never know dude you better off with a rental dont take a chance =X
