Pulled up next to another 135i at the lights
I've seen a few 135i's getting around town in Brisbane lately. Today I was driving down Lutwyche Rd towards Chermside Shopping Centre and I caught a glimpse of an AW 135i exactly the same as mine except it had performance wheels and red interior. I ended up following it for a while and I was able to pull up next to him at a set of traffic lights. Anyways, when I caught his attention I decided to give him the thumbs up and we both ended up putting down our windows and had a quick chat about our 135i's before the lights went green. My gf was in the car at the time and couldn't believe he actually responded to me after I gave him the thumbs up. She now knows how much 135i owners love their cars and how excited they are when the see another one on the road!!
Anybody else had a similar experience yet? So far I've only heard of people waving at other 135i drivers only to get no response whatsoever. Surely I must have run into another 1addict! |

Was travelling West-bound on Victoria Rd in Gladesville, Sydney, a few weeks ago when I spotted a nice blue hatch infront of me. I couldnt believe the amount of dish his BBS wheels had. After drooling over them for a few minutes, we finally stopped side by side at a red light. I gave him the 'nod' (lol) and he pulled his windows down. Started talking a little about his wheels (9.5 inch rears btw!! =])... but had to suddenly stop due to a green light (I actually would've preferred the light to stay red haha)...

I've seen so many more 135i's on the roads in the last few weeks. I've seen more in the last 3 weeks than I have in the 7 or 8 months before it. It's crazy. The best part is every 135i owner I've managed to pull alongside has given me the thumbs up and nod of approval haha. It's a great feeling. I saw a black 125i this morning and he had a 1addicts sticker on the rear window. He checked out my car and gave me the nod also. 1addicts is awesome!

A nice looking black 125i pulled up beside me a while ago and he gave me the thumbs up and pointed to my bonnet, i guess he was refering to the 225KW twin turbo engine
 which is now 270 |
