sport package + steep driveway =ok
here is some pics for those who are worry about the e90 with sport package being to low. I always had trouble with my past car with it being lower. Today I thought to see how the E90 will do on my driveway.

Nice!! My old prelude would've taken up much asphalt if I tried that. I already love the fact that bumbs my old car would rub does not affect my new car at all. I will never lower this e90!

Just as long as you ease the car in & out of the driveway, you have just enough clearance.
How's the 18" sports ride? You do have the sports suspension? No doubt you have the mixed tyres too? Looks like you live in a very nice, quiet area.

It looks like your car JUST makes it...you would still have to take that very slowly and carefully...
If your just sorta drove out it would scrape! Looks like you have cf lips? or am I mad |

Can anyone advise me offhand what the ground clearances are for the E46 with sport package (my current ride) and the E90 with sport package (coming)? I know, I know, I can find it myself by digging through the specs but maybe someone has already checked this and has the info handy. A corollary question is where is the clearance measured? It looks to me that the front lip is the most critical spot in practical driving because of the front overhang but it might not be where the smallest ground clearance is.
Thanks. |

Even though I have SG and love it, I really want black sapphire when I see nice pictures like this. BTW, the picture in your signature is one of the best that I've seen. Just perfect!

for those that are new, or missed this (posted a few months ago) - it's what happens when your bumper doesn't quite clear the curb...
...yes, sad. but it's happened to a lot of us, and will happen to a lot more... some curbs are just 'that' much to high. This one was from a grocery store parking lot concrete devider thing. and, yes. this is MY car. |

^ ouch. feel your pain. I used to scrape all the times with my previous car.
And its not pretty(the sound of scraping and pain that you feel when you see it). I'd be screaming pissed if my bmw gets scraped up like that. EVO_S4, while that looks really scary, your car looks so damn nice. I love CF splitter on dark-colored cars. I can't have it on mine, alpine white and C/F lip's contrast is too big of a difference. Your car makes me wish I had a black E90 with CF lip.
